BOOKING A NEW REPAIR OR SERVICE Please Read Before Booking ElectroFix operates on an appointment-only basis. Please do not visit our premises without prior arrangement. REPAIR ASSESSMENT & COSTS All repairs are subject to an initial assessment before work begins. Assessment fees typically range from £20.00 to £70.00, depending on the type, size or value of the equipment. If you proceed with the repair, the assessment fee is deducted from the final invoice. If the repair can be completed within the agreed cost limit, work will proceed without further approval. If additional costs are likely to be incurred, we will contact you before continuing. Standard labour rate: £70.00 per hour REPAIR ESTIMATES In most cases, accurate repair estimates cannot be provided until the equipment has been inspected. Providing estimates without examination is often inaccurate and can be misleading. Exceptions may apply for certain common faults or routine replacement jobs. COLLECTION, DELIVERY & TURNAROUND If the item is particularly large or heavy, please contact us before booking, as assistance with lifting may not always be available. Repair turnaround times vary according to current workload and parts availability. We are a specialist independent repair business and can often be extremely busy. An estimated turnaround time will be provided when your equipment is booked in.
