Portable Appliance Testing

Are you Breaking the Law?

Is your equipment electrically safe and legal?

Do you play in public places and/or with other musicians?

This means if you are gigging at pubs, clubs, hotels, rehearsal rooms etc. in order to comply with current

legislation you are legally required to have a current Certificate of Electrical Safety for all Electrical equipment

such as PA Systems, Amplifiers, Keyboards, Guitar Amps, Effects Pedals, Stage Lighting and other

Electrical Goods. A lot of venues will now ask to see your certificate before they will let you perform

You are also required to have Public Liability Insurance (PLI).

We can't help with PLI although you get free £10,000,000 PLI as a Musicians Union member!

BUT

We can test all your gear and provide you with a Certificate of Electrical Safety and it costs very little!

Please contact us for more info

All mains powered equipment brought to Electrofix for servicing gets a FREE P.A.T. Test Certificate
